Introduction
I was brought up in Gosforth and trained as an undergraduate at Barts in London. I did my GP training in the North East. I have a keen interest in teaching and training, both undergraduates and postgraduates, and I am a Training Programme Director on the Northumbrian General practice Training Scheme. My other main professional interest outside GP is Occupational Medicine. I am married to another local GP and have 2 sons and 3 dogs.
