Practice Notice: Practice Boundary Change
The Practice boundary change has now been formally approved and is effective from 18 May 2026.
This means from this date, only patients living within the new practice boundary area will be eligible to register.
Existing registered patients will NOT be affected and can remain registered at Roseworth Surgery even if they live outside the new boundary area.
The boundary change has been made to ensure we can provide safe, effective, and sustainable care for our patient population.
The following postcodes are now excluded from our catchment:
- NE23 Killingworth
- NE12 Longbenton, Killingworth, Benton
- NE13 Wideopen, Great Park, Hazlerigg
- NE1 Newcastle City Centre
- NE4 Fenham
- NE5 Cowgate, Denton
- NE6 Heaton, Byker, Walker, Walkergate
