We have applied to reduce the area which we can accept new patient registrations.
This change is being considered to help us manage our patient list safely and maintain the high standard of care we provide. It will only affect the area in which we can register new patients in the future.
Important – There is no change for current patients
If you are already registered with the practice, you will remain registered and continue to receive care as usual.
What is changing
- The change will only affect new patients wishing to register with the practice in the future.
- The area in which we can accept new registrations will become smaller if approved.
Next Steps.
- All patients will receive an SMS message with a letter attached explaining the proposed change in full and a link to an online questionnaire.
- Patients without a mobile phone number on record or those who have not consented to SMS messages will receive a paper copy of the letter and a questionnaire to complete and return to the practice.
Please do not ring the surgery about this change, as it is causing phone lines to become busy and preventing patients who need medical help from getting through.
If you have questions, please refer to the drop-in sessions listed in the letter, where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and share your views.
There is also space on the questionnaire for any comments or feedback.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we go through this process.
Your feedback is important to us and will help ensure we continue to provide safe, effective and accessible care for all our patients.
