Late May Bank Holiday: We will be closed on Monday, 27th May.
Monday, May 27th, is the Late May Bank Holiday, so Roseworth Surgery will be closed.
We will reopen as normal on the morning of Tuesday, 28th May. Here’s how to get prepared or if you need help over the long weekend.
Reorder repeat prescriptions early
If you have regularly prescribed medication that needs to be reordered, please do so as soon as possible.
Please allow at least three full working days from requesting a repeat prescription to it being available to collect.
The quickest and easiest way to reorder repeat prescriptions is through the NHS App.
You can also choose a regular pharmacy to collect your medication from, or, if you might be away from home, you can generate a barcode to pick up your prescription at any other pharmacist.
Pharmacy Opening Times
Please be aware of the opening times of your chosen pharmacy to ensure there is enough time for us to process your prescription requests.
Find a Pharmacy and check their opening times on the NHS website.
Think Pharmacy First
Pharmacies can now help you with more common conditions than ever before, including medication without a prescription or needing to see a GP first.
Here’s what you get help with:
- Earache/ear infections (aged 1-17)
- Impetigo/skin infections (1 year +)
- Infected insect bites (1 year +)
- Shingles (Aged 18+)
- Sinusitis (Aged 12+)
- Sore throats (5 years +)
- Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections, or UTIs (Women aged 16-64)
Over 10,000 pharmacies – 95% of all those in England – have signed up.
Remember, you don’t need an appointment. You can visit any Pharmacy, and they are often open when we are closed, especially over Bank Holidays and weekends.
