SCHOOL BASED FLU INFORMATION (MOP UP CLINICS)

For all children who were absent or unable to attend the school vaccination session a letter is sent home advising the parent / carer with details of how to access a community clinic drop.  All sessions are drop in with no appointments required and these dates have been circulated to all Schools

The school based Imms office is closed in between Christmas and New Year.   The number to call with any queries is 0191 643 2866 or 0191 643 2877. An answerphone message is in place advising of office opening hours or for any urgent emergencies call 111 or contact your GP.  Parents/carers can contact staff before 4:30 on Friday 20 December or from 9:00 on Monday 06 January.

Regular communication has been in place with schools in order to keep up to date with clinics.  This has resulted in children who did not previously consent contacting the service to consent.
