Fit notes or 'sick notes'
Did you know that you don't need a 'sick note' for work unless you are off for more than 7 days? For the first 7 days, you may self certify. Once you are off for the 8th day, you may go to your GP for a fit note. For more information, go to https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/fit-note
At Roseworth, we have our carers champion, Chantelle. We are actively trying to identify patients who are carers so that we can make a note of it to help you that little bit more. We can do things like give you more flexibility on appointment times by offering our late surgerys every Wednesday night! We have carers packs in reception that have lots of information on the help you can get as a carer. Regardless of your age, young and old, we want you to be aware of the best sources of help for you as a carer.
